How can you reach out and communicate with people without fear or stress?

All people live in a social world and are social beings. The ability to communicate is not given to us without reason. In order to survive, it is often necessary to interact with other people, whether at work, in a store, or in other areas of life. And to achieve success, whether material or otherwise, communication and interaction with others are essential.

But it so happens that a person experiences severe discomfort every time he needs to contact someone or many people at the same time. There is fear and self-doubt when trying to communicate with strangers or unfamiliar people. It is stressful and it is bad both for health and for life in general.

There are simple effective ways to overcome this negative feeling, gain confidence in communication, and achieve inner harmony. Briefly and step-by-step:

  1. Remember, people around you don’t think about you every second. People think primarily of themselves. Everyone focuses on themselves. People pay attention to other people for a moment, and then switch back to themselves. So you need to worry less about what people think of you. People think only about themselves 90% of the time. And even if someone thinks about you for a short time, it will not affect anything and makes no sense. Knowing these facts gives confidence. It becomes easier to contact and talk to people. Also, you will be less concerned about your appearance.
  2. Practice communication. Start with a simple. Greet the seller in the store and tell him thanks after the purchase. Greet the neighbor if you meet accidentally. Communicate online. Make a compliment to a colleague at work. And then contact completely unknown people, ask something logical. For example: “Could you tell me, where is the polyclinic?” or “Sorry, please tell me what time is it? Because the phone is dead, I can’t watch the time.” Ask the taxi driver how long it has been a driver. And similar attempts to communicate. They are strangers you will not meet in the future. So do not be afraid, and be anxious over what these people will think.
  3. If there was a funny situation in communication, embarrassment, or you are confused or confused, then do not worry about it. Do not dwell on these situations and do not lose confidence in yourself. Because as I wrote in paragraph 1, everyone will forget everything. The main thing is that in communication you are sincere and friendly. Then people will perceive exactly adequately.

Over time, by following these three steps, it will become easier to approach unfamiliar people. Perhaps the fear will not completely disappear, but it will diminish to such an extent that it becomes unnoticeable.
