Why do women massively become mercantile, and believe that a man owes them something?

In modern society, the phenomenon of mercantilism on the part of women is widespread. When a girl and a guy meet, everyone is often interested in different things. The guy will be interested in her talents, abilities, character, outlook on life and so on. The girl will be wondering if the guy has an apartment, a car, how much he earns and so on. Not always, but, unfortunately, often.

Why does this happen? There are several reasons, let’s find out. But first, let’s define what “mercantilism” is and what it’s like when they say “a man should.”

Mercantilism is when a person is not interested in another person, you only need to receive material benefits from him.

A man should – this is one of the manipulative statements to incline a man to material expenses for the benefit of a woman.

Why do women become mercantile?

1. The main reason is taking care of your appearance and not the opportunity to offer anything other than your appearance. Women’s beauty is worth a lot. And men first of all like well-groomed girls. Beautiful face, beautiful hair, figure, nails, clothes, accessories – it costs money and time. That is why there is such a model of relationships: if you want to be with a beautiful girl, finance her beauty. It’s dispassionate, short-lived, and even for men with money it can be unpleasant.
2. Provision of the family and financial stability. In this case, there may be no mercantile. For example, it is important for a girl that her boyfriend could first provide for himself. She doesn’t need someone paying for her whims. She’s making her own money. She doesn’t want the boy living with her money. That is the balance.

   Mercantile option is when the girl does not want to do anything, and the guy must provide everything you need. The reasons for this phenomenon may be laziness, pampering, lack of education, imbued with selfishness from parents (often an example from the mother).

3. Everyone wants a comfortable life. That’s no excuse. But in a person’s life there may come a time when poverty is tiring. Just a person wants a comfortable life and rest. The easiest way is at the expense of another person. My opinion is: if a girl is interested in a guy as a person with whom he wants to build a real relationship, and the guy turns out to be financially secured with a bonus – this is normal. But the search for a well-to-do guy is mercantile, which will never be characterized normally.
4. Upbringing from the last century. In many countries, mostly until 2000, families had a strange model of education: a man must earn money, and a woman to do household chores. Such upbringing is still found, but it is good that less often. Thanks to this model of upbringing, the girls really begin to look at the guys as a source of profit. They think that a man should provide for it materially.

   Healthy relationships are partnerships. People don’t owe each other. They negotiate with each other, feel free and self-sufficient.

5. Sell yourself. It’s just a chosen path in life. The so-called kept women name the price and give what the man needs. It’s not quite prostitution yet, and there are even formats when it looks like a romantic relationship, but it’s all paid for with money.

Recognizing a mercantile girl is not difficult. The first main feature – complains about their financial difficulties. On the other: lack of spiritual kindness, stories about what a man should have and how much money he should have, stories about his material desires, a calm reaction to the payment of her things by a guy, the lack of initiative in anything.

The article is not intended to humiliate girls, it’s only about the mercantile part. Yeah, men do too. But more often this topic is a problem primarily for men, because, unfortunately, mercantile women a lot. Because of this, many men become disillusioned with women and begin to treat all women badly. It is not easy to find people with healthy views in a large society.
